Edward Henry Adrian was born 08 Dec 1884 in Belknap Twnshp, Presque Isle, Michigan. He was the seventh of eight children born to Ernest A and Augusta Caroline (Schroeder) Adrian.

He was made a child of God through the sacrament of baptism at St John Lutheran Church-Iowa Synod [ALC-ELCA], 4246 CR 441. As recorded in Rev. Schwan's diaries [Book 3 - page 242B] Eduard was baptized 22 February 1885 Belknap. His godparents were August Krecklow, Heinrich Florip, and Frau Marie Florip.

He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith on 16 Apr 1899 at St John Ev Lutheran Church-LCMS by the Rev. Joel David Druckenmiller. Eduard's memory verse for life is 1 John 4, verse 19.

In the 1900 census, his father had moved the family into town, to a home on Fifth Street. Ernest is listed at age 15 Years, 5 Months, 30 Days an attending school. The 1910 census shows him at age 25 Years, 4 Months, 7 Days. He is single, living at home, and employed as a day laborer at one of the many area saw mills.

On 13 Oct 1919 he was united in marriage with Isabel C Dullack, daughter of Ignatzio and Wilhelmine Dullack, at St Ignatius Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. C. T. Skowronek. Witnesses were Felix & Josephine Dullack. Isabel's sister, Louisa, was married to Edward's brother August ten years earlier in 1909.

To this union were born six children: two daughters, Lois and Marjorie; and four sons, Ernest Edward, Dale T, Arthur W, and William.

Per the 1930 census, Edward and Isabel had established their home at 305 Fourth Street. Edward was employed as a "blaster" at the Calcite plant.

Isable passed away on 22 Apr 1948 at the age of 51 Years, 2 Months. Her mortal remains were laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Edward passed away on 08 Sep 1963 at the age of 78 Years, 9 Months, 0 Days. His mortal remains were laid to rest next to those of his dear wife, Isabel, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
