Frederick was baptized August 2, 1885 by Rev. J.D. Duueckenmueller at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers City. He was confirmed from the same church on April 25, 1897. Also in the same church he married Emma Louise Horn on June 3, 1908.
Friedrich was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on 3 April 1898 by Rev. Joel David Druckenmiller in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rogers City, Michigan. His memory verse for life is 1 Corinthians 16, verses 13 and 14.
Friedrich was enumerated in 1900.
The 1900 Michigan, Presque Isle County, Rogers Township Federal Census (E.D. 152 - page 7A) enumerated 12 June 1900 by William E. Bennett shows:

Fred and Emma lived in Rogers City until 1921 when they moved to Birmingham, Michigan. Their daughter Cornelia was enrolled in the Lutheran School there and confirmed. Five years later, in 1926 they bought an 80 acre farm in south of Yale, Emmet Township, St Clair County (SE corner farm Matcalf and Connel Roads). There being no Lutheran Church in Yale at the time, the family traveled to Capac (about 10 miles distant), to St. John which at that time was a conservative Iowa Synod congregation. (Iowa had at one time, along with the Ohio Synod, been a member of the old Synodical Conference but had withdrawn over the Predestination Controversy of the 1880's.)
In 1936 they lived on Third Street in Imlay City, Mi in an apartment above Fred's Harness Shop.
In 1946 a WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) mission was started in Yale. (There had been a WELS parich east of Yale in Greenwood Township for over 80 years; they had originally been a member of the old Michigan Synod that amalgamated with Wisconsin and Minnesota in 1892.
Fred and Emma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with open houses in Capac and Rogers City in May, 1958. Two of the attendants, Mrs. Lillian Cooper, St louis, MO and Adolph Bertram, Rogers City, were still living in 1958.

The following is the obituary from the Port Huron Time Herald, Thursday 7 April 7 1960 and the Presque Isle County Advance, dated 14 April 14 1960:
Fred Adrian, 74, Rogers City, died unexpectedly Wednesday while building a porch at the home of his son, Robert Adrian, 108 Third Street - Yale, MI. He and Mrs Adrian had been spending the winter with their son.
Mr. Adrin was born June 25, 1885 in Rogers City to the late Mr and Mrs August Adrian. He was a former farmer and harness maker in the Yale and Imlay city areas and owned and operated the Adrian Harness Shop in Imlay City for many years from 1936 until his retirement in 1951.
Mr Adrian was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Rogers City, and an associate-member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Yale, MI.
Mr Adrian is survived by his widow; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sylvia Adrian of Yale; two daughters, Mrs Cornelia (Charles) Theel of Yale and Mrs Alice (Harold) Kegler of Capac, and eight grandchildren.
Mr Adrian's remains are at the S B Gillian funeral home where prayer services will be held at 9:30pm this evening. Pastor H C Buch, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church will officiate. The remains will be removed Friday to the McWillaims Funeral Home in Rogers City with visitation Friday evening.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday in St John Lutheran Church, Rogers City with the Rev Louis A Linn officiating followed by burial in the Rogers City Memorial Park Cemetery.
