Abraham served in the Indian Wars as a private in North's Company, Christian's Regt Milita, Territory South of the Ohio River in 1793. [see Clark, Murtie J., p. 109]

Purchased 100 acres of land from his brother John which was part of his father's original lands in the Neck sold to John. In 1807 Abraham received a Tennessee land grant. At the time of his death, he owned 257 acres. [Nave-Hougland page 17.]

Twin brother to Rebecca Nave

The first memorial photo shown on the right is a portion of Abraham's original marker found during cemetery excavation in the Summer of 2015. The second photo is the current memorial which is a replacement provided by the US Department of Veteran Affairs in January of 1950. Abraham's original marker was found very near the replacement as well as markers for other members of his family. 21 Sept 2015
