On Friday morning at 11:30 Mrs. Justine Albert, mother of Ferdinand Albert of this city, closed her tired eyes in the slumber of death, having attained the advanced age of 75 years, 3 months. Since December her health had been failing; she took to her bed a few weeks ago and gradually grew weaker until she passed peacefully away.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Fritz and was born March 30, 1842 at Schoen Walde, West Prussia, Germany. When 13 years of age she came with her father and the other members of the family to this country, locating in Washington, Co. After a short time she went to live at Horicon where in 1859 she was married to Carl Albert. They lived on a farm south of Horicon until in 1900 they removed to Mayville. Here Mrs. Alberet lived to the day of her death in her home just west of her son's on the Horicon road.

Twelve children were given them during their happy married life, eight boys and four girls. They are: Charles, Albert and Theodore at Thorpe, Clark Co., John south of Horicon, William, who died in Jan. 1916, Ferdinand at Mayville, also Miss Alvina, who was her mother's constant and faithful attendant, Mrs. Amelia Welsch at EauClaire, Mrs. Emma McKee at Pittsville, Adolf at Grand Rapids, Alvin and Mrs. Olga Lawson at New Holstein. There are 34 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral took place Monday afternoon from the late home with interment at Graceland cemetery, Rev. Frank B. Dunkley conducting the services, the M. E. church choir singing.

In what high esteem she was held was shown by the large attendance of relatives and friends and the numerous large and beautiful floral tributes.

We wish to extend sincere sympathy to the mourning relatives in their bereavement.
