Arnold passed away Tuesday evening, May 27, 2014 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.
He was born September 23, 1932 in Kalamazoo the son of the late George E. and Clara. (Crowe) Arnold.
Ed was a graduate of Paw Paw High School and served in Korea during the Korean War as a Combat Engineer. He was employed for 35 years by Allied Paper Company, Kalamazoo as superintendent until his retirement in 1989.
Ed enjoyed ice fishing, farming, gardening, and woodworking. On June 28, 1952 in Kalamazoo Ed was united in marriage to Mary Emma Menz who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Ellen (Jeffrey) Rebenstorf, Diane (Cecil) Moore, Sharon Aernie all of Mattawan; 3 grandchildren, Jason (Juanita) and Jeremy(Sarah) Rebenstorf and Elissia (Matthew) Pruitt; great grandchildren, Jason and Sonja Rebenstorf; brother, Victor Arnold; 4 sisters, Clara Wright of TX, Florence Boyer of IL, Maybella Arnold of OK and Ester Slack of OK; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Donna Keyte officiating.
Interment will follow in Almena Cemetery with military honors.
