Richard "Rick" Don Adams
(December 14, 1951 - November 2, 2009)

Richard "Rick" Don Adams, 57, of Round Rock, passed away on November 2, 2009 with his family at his side. Rick was born December 14, 1951 in Odessa, Texas to the late Odis and Lois Hamilton Adams. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Wyonna Faye Adams.

Rick served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Rick married his sweetheart, Deborah Ann Martin on November 22, 1984 in Austin, Texas. Rick worked for many years as a journeyman electrician with over 10 years spent at Dial One Electric. Rick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother in law, uncle and friend. He never met a stranger and never turned away a friend in need. He loved to spend time with family and enjoyed fishing.

Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years, Debbie Adams; his children, Sabrina Spears Bishop and husband Doug of Gatesville, Donnie Paul Adams from Burleson; his brothers, Doug Adams of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Mike Adams and his wife Donna of Liberty Hill; his grandchildren, Tabitha Bishop, Teagan Bishop, Raven Bishop, Tylar Bishop, Zakari Bishop; sister in laws Gaylin Sutphen and husband Lanny Ray, Tanya Goode of Surprise, Arizona; brother in law Roy Martin and wife Shelia; and numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of good friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the San Gabriel Funeral Chapel located at 393 N. IH 35 in Georgetown, Texas.

Graveside services are planned for Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 A. M. at the IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas
