Raymond passed away unexpectedly January 25, 2010 at the age of 82. He was born November 15, 1927 at Wichita , Kansas to John Gibran and Sadie (Shadid) Albert.

He graduated from St. Joseph High School and then continued his education at the University of Oklahoma.

Raymond was married to Wanda Lee Forducey on November 9, 1951 at Pampa, TX.

He was a partner with Albert Bros. of Elk City over 30 years until 1979 and then in 1980 owned and operated Circle A Western Wear.

He was a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church of Elk City. Raymond had a heart of gold and was a man of faith, integrity, and unconditional love. His memory and lessons of life will live on through his family. He will be missed by all of the lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, his wife, Wanda Forducey Albert, and one sister, Helen Albert Koury.

Survivors include five children: Paul Albert and his wife Denise of Elk City, Denise Mettry and her husband Michael of Oklahoma City, Jeannette Selby and her husband Thomas of Tampa, FL, Mark Albert and his wife Jacque of Elk City, Edward Albert and his wife Vangie of Elk City. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Matthew Mettry, Nicholas Mettry, Monica Albert, John Paul Albert, Alex Albert, Sam Albert, Michelle Albert, Katie Selby, and Joseph Albert. His bothers and sisters, Ralph Albert of Elk City, Ned Albert and his wife Wilma of Tulsa, OK, Blanche Alex of Flint, MI, and Frances Khoury of Oklahoma City, OK. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Prayer Vigil for Raymond Albert was held Friday, January 29, 2010 at the St. Matthew Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 30, 2010 also at St, Matthew Catholic Church, with the Most Rev. Eusibius J. Beltran, Principal Celebrant.
