JAMES BENJAMIN ARTERBERRY, 72, funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Coalgate, with Rev. Delbert White officiating.
Burial will be in Farris Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service in Coalgate.
A roofer and construction worker, he died Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Coalgate. Born in Bentley, Oklahoma on September 19, 1937 he was the son of H.D. "Sam" and Leona Bell (Bomsburger) Aterberry.
He attended Farris school and was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God.
Preceding him him death were his parents, H.D. "Sam" and Leona Bell (Bomsburger) Aterberry; a brother, Charley Aterberry; and a nephew, Charley David Aterberry.
Survivors include a sister, Laura Smith and companion Geroge Isom of Coalgate; three nieces, Ronda Eldridge and husband, Russell of Atoka; Judy Nichols and husband, Reggie of Alderson; and Glenda Cross and husband, Rocky of Silo; several great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Roger Sullenger is honorary pallbearer. Active pallbearers are, Bob Ward, Ronnie Hampton, Robert Hampton, Richard Hampton, Ricky Pelts, and Larry Walker.
