Wilma Corbin, age 63, a resident of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Hillcrest North Health Care Center in Knoxville. Wilma was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Maryville, Tenn. She lived most of her life in Knoxville, however she lived a number of years in Oklahoma. Mrs. Corbin was a retired retail clerk. She was a devout Christian, who believed in the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Wilson, and Charles Corbin; and by her parents, Leonard Hightower and Mary Hicks Hightower. Survivors include her sons, Buddy Allen Wilson and wife, Carleen, of Oliver Springs, and Frank McCullough of Oklahoma; and a sister, Betty Anderson, of Knoxville. Graveside services and burial were held Saturday, June 30, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Mineral Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Daugherty officiating. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
