MRS. ELIZABETH E. BARNES
Mrs. Elizabeth E. Barnes, 88, a lifelong resident of the West Mifflin district, died yesterday at her home on the New England Rd., West Mifflin. The widow of George L. Barnes, she was born in Camden, Pa., on Jan. 26, 1863, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Clairton.
Funeral services are set for Monday at 2 p.m. at the J. Sam Whetsel Funeral Home, Wilson District, Clairton, where friends are being received. Elder Alvin Johnson will officiate and interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, John at home, George C. of Clairton R. D. 1 and Alex of Homestead; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy E. Chiders, Mrs. Mabel Sutton and Mrs. Mary Hairl, all of McKeesport; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
