Farmer Fatally Hurt By Flying Piece of Metal
John Bright Abers, 48, of Lyndon, was fatally injured Wednesday morning when he was struck in the forehead by a piece of metal from the flywheel of an ensilage cutter upon which he was working, on the Nelle Miller farm between Greenfield and Lyndon.
The victim was rushed to the Greenfield Hospital where he died about one hour after the accident from a multiple skull fracture.
He never regained consciousness, it was reported.
