Mrs. Rose Caroline Aldridge, 95, a resident of Frenchtown Nursing Care Center since December, 1990, died there at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Allore Funeral Home, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ronald Shirkey of Christ Lutheran Church will officate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Born April 24, 1898, in Frenchtown Township, she was the daughter of John and Katherine (Friedline) Siebert. She was married Aug. 2, 1919, to Oliver Aldridge of Monroe. He preceded her in death March 11, 1959. Mrs. Aldridge had been employed by Weis Manufacturing Co. and by River Raisin Paper co. during World War I. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, a member and past president of Monroe Post 1138, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Mercy Memorial Hospital Guild, and Frenchtown Senior Citizens. Surviving are a son, Kenneth of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Laura) Culp of Brewster, Mass.; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert, Aug. 17, 1979; three brothers, John, Edward and Carl Siebert, and two sisters, Matilda Rothacher and Lydia Birdseye. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
