Helen P. Allen, 61, of Bowling Green died March 21, 2003, at The Medical Center.She was employed by Britthaven Nursing Home and was a member of Eleventh Street Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Royce Lawson and the late Thelma DuVall Lawson.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Burnam & Son Mortuary Inc., with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include her husband, James Allen; two daughters, Elizabeth Strode and Sherry Allen, both of Bowling Green; three sons, James N. Allen, William Allen, Michael Allen, all of Bowling Green; a sister, Thelma J. Lawson of Bowling Green; two brothers, Bobby Lawson and Dennis Lawson, both of Bowling Green; and 14 grandchildren.
