He was the son of Rufus A. and Margaret Jane () Baker and married Maggie Lee (Brooks) Jones - 13 Jul 1928 - Madison Co., Alabama. His obituary follows:

Olson Bryan Baker of the Lincoln community died Sunday at the Lincoln County Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was 68 years old.

Services were conducted this afternoon (Tuesday) at Gallant Funeral Home, with Rev. Virgil Harmon and Rev. Sam Neal officiating. Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery.

A native of Coffee County, Mr. Baker was a member of the Baptist church. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maggie Brooks Baker; four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Corder, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Dorothy Moses, Mrs. Leona Caldwell, and Mrs. Margaret Byers, all of Barbeton, Ohio; four sons, Ernest Baker and Frank Baker, both of Lincoln County, Carl Baker, Memphis, and Charlie Baker, Akron, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Billy Starnes, Decherd; two brothers, Hubert Baker, Huntsville, and J. W. Baker, Crossville; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
