Miss Daisy Belle Baker died December 10, 1977 after a long illness. She was born January 28, 1908 in Jefferson County, Tn.
She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Mary Elizabeth Moore Baker. She moved to Cumberland County with her parents at an early age.
Miss Baker spent part of her life working in Cincinnati, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan. She returned to Crossville and worked as a nurse for several years at the Cumberland Medical Center. She retired in 1959 due to ill health.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Nellie Selby and Miss Alice Baker of Crossville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 12 at Bilbrey Funeral home with burial in Linary cemetery. Rev Vernon Daugherty officiated.
