Hattie Albrecht's Obituary from the Westbrook Sentinel published June 12, 1902:
Mr. and Mrs. William Albrecht who moved here from North Dakota about the first of April were called upon last Sunday to mourn the death of their only child, a baby girl seventeen months of age. The little child had the measels which later turned to pneumonia. Everything was done for the little sufferer but without avail. The funeral was held from the German Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon, and a large procession followed the little one to the cemetery, testifying their sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Albrecht, the latter also being sick with measels and unable to attend the funeral.
Louie Albrecht and sister, of Springfield, were here Tuesday to attend the funeral of their brother's little child, as was also, Ed Roske and wife, friends from Sanborn.
