Delmar Andrews, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN, died Sunday, Mar. 12, 2006, at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, an Army Veteran, a farmer, and Co-owner of B & A. Oil Company. He was a member of Long Branch Church of Christ. His parents were the late Claude King Andrews and Blanche Bailey Andrews Greene.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Markus Andrews of Lawrenceburg, TN. One daughter, Janet Slater (Van) of Deerfield, TN. One son, Steve Andrews (Shirley) of Deerfield, TN. Six sisters, Imogene Tidwell of Nashville, TN, Dorothy Tidwell of Nashville, TN, Ruby Spears of Leoma, TN, Polly Gray of Lawrenceburg, TN, Peggy Greene of New Prospect, TN and Bobbie Jean Underwood of Nashville, TN. Three brothers, William Greene of Lawrenceburg, TN, Waymon Greene of Lawrenceburg, TN and Mike Greene of Nashville, TN. Seven grandchildren. Ten great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
