GEORGE "WINK" BURABY; LINCOLN - George A. "Wink" Buraby, 84, husband of the late Benice (Morrill) Buraby, died Dec. 18, 1990, at a Licoln hospital. He was born in Orono, July 26, 1906, the son of George and Mary Ann (Dufour) Buraby. He attended Orono schools and worked all his adult life as a papermaker at eastern Fine Paper Co., Brewer, Stabdard Packaging, and Lincoln Pulp and Paper, retiring in the mid-1960's. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He is survived by one son, James Buraby of Scarborough; one daughter, Lorraine, and her husband, Philip Sibley, of Burlington; one granddaughter, Sue and her husband, Marc Dufresne; one grandson, Rick Dewitt; two great-grandchildren, Kevin and Katie Dufresne; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Morrill of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roland Couture officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate in his memory to the Activities Fund at the Skilled Nursing Facility of Penobscot Valley Hospital. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
