Thomas Allen, 87 of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Cloverdale Manor.
Funeral services at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Rev. Don Reeves officiated.
Interment at Goose Pond Cemetery.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Gladys Allen, of Scottsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Rita Allen, of Scottsboro; daughters and son-in-law, Sue and Bill Lawson, of Fayetteville, Tenn. and Carolyn May, of Woodville; stepson, Wally Cox, of Scottsboro; sisters, Katie Denham, of Scottsboro and Daisy Looney, of Scottsboro; and brothers, Bernard Allen, of Scottsboro; Charles Allen, of Decatur; and James Allen, of Scottsboro; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Allen; wives, Kathleen and Geraldine Allen; and brothers, Aubrey and William Allen.
Mr. Allen was a retired farmer. He was a member of Goose Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
