He grew up on the home place south of Carl and lived there all his life except for 3 years in California and 9 years in Corning.
He was united in marriage to Pearl Johnston on March 23, 1910.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pearl; one son, George; his daughter in law, Lois; two granddaughters, Roberta and Stacey; one sister, Mrs. Susie Homan of Prescott, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and three brothers, George C., Joseph and Frank.
He was interested in his farm work and family and especially his two granddaughters who he loved dearly.
Robert was a member of the Corning Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 9, at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church in Corning with Rev. Brown Garlock officiating. Music was by Mrs. Brown Garlock and Mrs. Joe Cook.
Pallbearers were Lawrence Antisdel, Robert Coulter, Wayne Bunting, Don Johntson, Dale Johnston, and Carl Bovaird. Flower bearers were Mrs. Robert Coulter, Mrs. Lawrence Antisdel and Mrs. Carl Bovaird.
Interment was in the Carl Cemetery.
