Robert M. Albeck, 81, of 12 Dey St., Danville, died late Monday at the Bloomsburg Hospital.
Born Oct. 23, 1907, in Danville, he was a son of the late Francis and Jennie Beagle Albeck.
He was employed as a plumber at Danville State Hospital, retiring in 1962.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Albeck was a member of Pine Street Lutheran Church.
His wife, the former Cleora Wintersteen, died in 1984; and two brothers, Frank and Dr. Lester Albeck, died previously.
Surviving are a son, Gary, San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Connie) Oberdorf, Danville; three brothers: Alvin, Bloomsburg; Stanley, Hurt, Va.; and Paul, River Grove, Ill.; five sisters: Albe Lore, Millville; Jessie Martz, Princeton, N.J.; Merle Barbara Page, Allenwood; Mrs. Roger (June) Nelson, Roberts, Wis.; and Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Edwards, Bloomsburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Brady Funeral Home, Danville.
