M. Barbara Boore, 80, Altoona, died Sunday evening at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
She was born in Allemansville, daughter of the late Eugene M. and Winifred S. (Herring) Hoffman. She married Paul E. Boore, and he died Dec. 8, 2001.
Surviving are two sons: Roy and wife, Karen, of Roaring Spring and Steve of Altoona; two granddaughters: Nicole Wise of Hollidaysburg and Lyndsey Seskey of Altoona; and a great-grandson, Damon Wise of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Barbara was a homemaker and attended Cornerstone Fellowship of Mill Run. She was a member of Altoona TOPS, and she enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family, friends and her cat, Abbey.
Friends will be received from 6 to the 8 p.m. funeral service today, Jan. 26, 2010, at the Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 Fifth Ave., Altoona, Pastor Jeff Jones officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Allemansville.
