Ronald C. Drexler, 79, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012, in Alamogordo, N.M. He was born on July 7, 1932 in Erie, Pa., to Charles and Martha (Biebel) Drexler. Mr. Drexler was in the U.S. Air Force and served in Japan at the close of the Korean War. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, and worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Air Force. ... He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy; brothers, Thomas Drexler and James Drexler; and sister, Doris Shoup. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 12:00 noon at St Jude's Parish. Inurnment will follow at St. Jude's Columbarium. The family will greet friends at the parish hall following the inurnment. The Drexler family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the arrangements.
