"The people of Reamstown who are descended from the Adams family trace their ancestry to George Adams (2/1/1832 - 2/3/1904) married to Mitilda Peifer (1835 -. George Adams is said to have moved to Reamstown from somewhere in York County. He was a tall man who wore a beard, by trade he was a tinsmith. For many years he lived with his family in a house next to the Napierville school, on the side toward Reamstown, a house which is no longer standing. The present writer has not found the name of his parents, but he is said to have had a brother Richard who was married and lived somewhere in the west. He also had a sister Annie who never married. She is buried in Martin's cemetery near Fivepointville."
