Jean Fair Abell - BUCHANAN - Jean Fair Abell, 86, of 421 Moccasin, died at 12:55AM today at the Brye Fern Nursing Home in Battle Creek. A member of the Church of Christ, she was a retired school teacher. Mrs Abell was born March 10, 1891 in Milwaukee. In 1959, she married Edward Abell, who died Aug 7, 1974. Survivors include a stepson, Ralph, of Terre Haute, Ind; three step grandchildren and three step great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30PM Monday at the Swem Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hudson of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
