Mrs. Evelyn Hickman Dooley Armstrong, 77, retired employee of Dixie Manufacturing and former resident of McBride Circle, died Friday, March 14, 2003, at NHC of Columbia.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Hubert Hickman and Lula Tice Hickman. She was a member of Bigbyville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold (Joy) Dooley of Nashville; Randell (Mickey) Dooley of Columbia; two daughters, Patricia (Jack) Easley of Nunnelly; Jean (Bruce) Bradley of Newton, Mississippi; one brother, Athel (Evelyn) Hickman of Columbia; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Opal Montgomery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Hickman, Gary Montgomery, Tommy Briggs, Glenn Brewer, Kevin Dooley, Jeff Dooley, and Greg Dooley.
