DEATH OF MRS. AELING
Mrs. Anna Aeling died at her home in Dayton at 1 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 27, at the advanced age of seventy-five years. This old lady was seriously sick only a few days, although she has not been well for the past six weeks. The cause of her death was an abscess on the neck.
Mrs. Aeling was a resident of this neighborhood since the early days. A few years ago the family moved from a farm near town in town. Mrs. Aeling's husband has preceded her in death by only a few years. Several children survive, one daughter, Mrs. Higgins and a granddaughter, Miss Mabel Higgins made their home with Mrs. Aeling.
The life that Mrs. Aeling led was exemplary. She was firm in the Christian faith and in spite of her advanced age, very seldom missed church service. She was a sincere friend, an accomodating neighbor and a true honest woman. Funeral services were held from the home at 1:30, and from Grace M.E. church at 2:00 on Thursday, March 2.
