Ms. Ruby Fouraker Morgan, age 92, of Genoa, FL. passed away late Monday evening November 2, 2015 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center in Jasper. Ruby was born in South Georgia on March 13, 1923 to the late Ichabod and Verbie Rhoden Fouraker. She was a longtime resident of Hamilton County, FL. and worked many years at Metal Products in Lake City, FL. before retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, reading and fishing. If anyone in the room said “go” she was ready, it didn’t matter where, she just enjoyed going. Ms. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband Dean Morgan, a son, Frank Damon Morgan and an infant daughter Thenia Morgan. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Wetherington, Jasper, FL.; two brothers, Ichabod Fouraker Jr. and his wife Betty of Valdosta, GA. and William “Bill” Fourakres and his wife Patty of Madison, FL.; three sisters, Bashie Copeland, Lake Park, GA., Dalceda Roberts, Valdosta, GA. and Mae Agner of Madison, FL.; four grandchildren, Lisa Hudson, Samuel Wetherington, Theenie Smith and Marcia Boatright; eight great grandchildren and six great, great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. Interment will follow at Camp Branch Cemetery near Genoa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Suwannee Valley Nursing Center, 427 NW 15th Ave, Jasper, FL. 32052.
