Ronald D. Allison, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Rio Rancho, NM. Ronald was born to Orlando and Geneva Allison on November 11, 1935 in Parker, CO. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Allison, daughters, Rhonda Webb of Edgewater, CO and Judy Allison and her husband, Bill Finch of Denver, CO, son, Donny Allison of Lakewood, CO, three grandchildren, five great-grandsons, brother-in-law, John Dozzo and sister-in-law, Barbara Dozzo of Rio Rancho, NM. Ronald served as city councilman and mayor of Edgewater, CO prior to moving to Rio Rancho, NM 12 years ago. As a resident of Rio Rancho he enjoyed golfing and was a member of Chamisa Hills Men’s golfing group, he also enjoyed working with his hands and woodworking. Ronald attended the United Church of Christ in Rio Rancho. Ronald was also an avid fan of the Denver Broncos. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. There will also be a Memorial Service and Interment at St. John’s Cathedral, Denver, CO on July 28, 2015.
