Anna Elisabeth Rogel was born in Kolb, Russia. She was the daughter of Heinrich Michael Rogel and Anna Elisabeth Koch. Her father died when she was a young child, and when her mother remarried to Michael Koch, he became the father who brought her to America, settling in Ritzville, Washington.

Anna Elisabeth "Lizzie" married Heinrich "Henry" Adler 9 Nov 1905 in Adams County, Washington. Two children were born to this marriage. Henry died 2 Oct 1953.

Anna Elisabeth was survived by her daughter, Laura (Victor) Cuff and her son, Victor H. Adler (Mary Litke) Adler; her sister Mary Rogel, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives.
