Death: Apr. 11, 1916
California, USA

Callifornia Scherlotte (Charlotte) Dominici Burt was born in 1853 in La Grange, California, just three months after her family immigrated from Germany to America. Charlotte was the first native-born Californian of the family, hence her given name although her parents spelled it incorrectly.

At the age of 27, Charlotte married John Burt, a native of Pennsylvania. They had three children; Edna, Mary Matilda and Edward.

Charlotte Burt passed away April 11, 1916 at the age of 63 from enlargement of the liver resulting from gall stones. She was laid to rest beside her husband John, her son Edward and her Granddaughter Alene Bush in the La Grange Cemetery.
