Harriet was born July 27, 1845 in Washtenaw Co., MI. She married Abram Van Patten 18 Oct. 1866DeKalb Co., Il. She died 19 March 1912. Both she and Abram, a Civil War Veteran, are buried in Malta Cemetery, Malta, Il. They had 5 children: Susan; Jessie; Herbert; Harriet and Carrie
