Brian C. Allen, 52, of Streator passed away at 7:01 P.M. Monday December 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. A vigil service will be held at 4:00 P.M.
Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be, Matthew Burash, Richard Huffines, Greg Norman, Robert Gonzalez, Ernie Hallam and Tom Wissen.
Born September 23, 1958 in Streator he was the son of Max L. and Frances E. (Dzuryo) Allen.
He is survived by a son David Allen of Chenoa; a daughter Stephanie Allen (fiancé Ryan Quas) and their son Brayden of Pontiac; a sister Debra (Edward) Stash of Ottawa; brothers, Bruce Allen and Ronald (Jill) Alen of North Richland Hills, Texas; his girlfriend, Missy Anderson and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Born and raised in Streator Brian attended St. Stephen's Grade School and graduated from Streator High School. He lived his lifetime in Streator.
He was a member of St. Stephen's Church and the Msgr. George A. Dzuryo Knights of Columbus Council #790.
Brian loved to do carpentry work and remodeling. He enjoyed wood working and riding motorcycles, especially his 84 Shovel Head.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
