Birth: Oct. 17, 1905, USA
Death: Apr., 1995, USA

grace auler had class and kindness. she was married to ray auler, who was dedicated to enjoying life and helping his fellow man. they were married almost 60 years and respected as well as loved each other. she never got to go to college, although she read constantly, was on the library board, and loved concerts in chicago. she played piano and was a lifetime member of the woman's club music society. ray and grace never added to the house or drove anything but a chevy (usually to the golf course or a football game). she was 5'2", dark hair, very pretty and had a host of friends. she loved her grandchildren rob, jen, and james auler. grace could sew anything from a wedding dress to things for the kids. she lived in the same house in oglesby, il after moving from her birth home in utica, il. at the age of 6 months. when she moved with ray to champaign, il. in her 70s, she made a new life and new friends easily. grace was loved by many and respected by all. she was a wonderful mother and grandmother of the old school. grace was very intelligent and could have had a profession other than making others happy; but she truly excelled at this and accepted ray and his values as worthy. if she had frustrations nobody knew. she was too full of love. when she died, the verse she had designated was "be ye kind one to another."
