New York, USA
|Death: ||Dec. 26, 1863|
Louisa Boughton was first married to Darius Truair. They had one son, Henry Alonzo Truair. Henry was born 29 Apr 1846 in Cook County, Illinois and died 2 May 1915 in Waterloo, Black Hawk, Iowa.
Louisa then married Benedict Ader and had a daughter, listed as 11 month old Mary on the census of 12 Jul 1860 Palos Park, Cook, Illinois.
Louisa was born in New York. On the 11 Oct 1850 census she is 33 but on the 12 Jul 1860 she is 40. So her exact birth year is not yet known. She is a widow living with her parents on the 1850 census. In 1860 she lives with her second husband Benedict Ader. I am inclined to believe the age on the earlier record.
Due to the lack of records, from there the trail is merky. I have more on my family tree but I have yet to find real proof. There is a Benedict Eder buried in Cook County, Illinois who may be Louisa's husband. There is also a girl named Clara Marie Eder born 2 Aug 1859 Illinois who married in Summit, Cook, Illinois, Fredrick "Fritz" "Fred" Buchmeier. She may be Mary daughter of Louisa.
Benedikt Eder is believed to have been her second husband. He was born in Germany and like many immigrants, they used the German spelling on their graves.
