Irma Viola Ahrens wife of Frank W. Ahrens died last night at her home, 320 West Chicago street, Elgin. Mrs. Ahrens was a resident of Rockford until about 10 years ago. She was born in Owen township Nov. 21, 1892.
Survivors are her husband; her father, George Franklin, of Rockford; three brothers, Harold, Walter, and George Franklin all of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Susannah Zuck, Ann Arbor, Mich. and Mrs. Bertha Crowell, Rockford.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at the Marsh and Corn funeral home in Elgin the Rev. William H. Tope officiating. Burial will be in North Burritt cemetery near Rockford. The funeral procession is expected to arrive at the cemetery at 3:30 p.m. and friends may view the body there at that time.
