Bonne -- Richard "Romy" Bonne, 80, Brodhead, Wis., died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 1980, in Health Care Center, Janesville, Wis., after a long illness. Born Dec. 7, 1899 in Rockford, son of Aaron and Matie Ernst Bonne. Lived 10 years in Brodhead, going there from Durand. He farmed most of his life in northern Illinois, and Southern Wisconsin, retiring in 1968. Veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Services at 11 a.m. Saturday May 10, in McCorkle Funeral Home, Durand, with the Rev. Thomas M. Hardwick, pastor of Durand United Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Laona Township Cemetery. Friends may call after 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
