Laura Rachel Blaney, 85, ied at 6:15 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007, at the Morgan County Hospital in Martinsville, Indiana.

Mrs. Blaney was born November 2, 1921, in Newman, a daughter of Gordon N. and Desta O. Anderson Peddycoart. She married Harold "Red" Blaney on June 28, 1941. He died October 13, 1992.

Mrs. Blaney is survived by two sons, Dean Balney and John (Boots) Blaney, three daughters, Linda (Ken) Radtke, Peg (Gary) Gire and Janet (Joe) Redden, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, six sisters, Bonnie Addis, Viola Clark, Clara Cain, Fern Dyke, Camellia Buck and Nancy Morecraft, three brothers, Harold "Pete" Peddycoart, Jim Peddycoart and Art Peddycoart.

Mrs. Blaney was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Eugene and Lloyd Peddycoart and one sister, Ellen Wright.

Laura was a retiree of Kraft Foods in Champaign, Illiois. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Villa Grove, Illinois, and a member of the Odd Fellows Rebekah's in Arthur, Ilinois.
