Robert Hudson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hudson, residing between Deers Station and Sidney, committed suicide Saturday night by drinking carbolic acid and lived only a short time after taking the poison, dying in terrible agony. Mr. Hudson had attended a party Saturday evening and it is said, while there he stated that he was going to take his life. The deceased was twenty-two years old and a member of the Sidney Knights of Pythias lodge. The funeral was held Tuesday from the home under the auspices of the Sidney Knights of Pythias lodge. Interment was made in the Huss cemetery, nearby.
