Helen G. Conley, 73, Freeport, formerly of Rockford, died March 6, 1986 in Freeport after a long illness. Born July 2, 1912 near Winnebago, IL., the daughter of Richard and Floss Campbell Gill. Lived most of her life in Rockford, going to Freeport five years ago. Married to Lawrence Conley. Employed as office clerk by Ingersoll Milling Machine Co. for 10 years. Member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Campbell Wichman, Freeport; three grandchildren; a sister, Mary Alice Heely, Rockford; two brothers Richard Gill, Monroe Center, and Bernard Gill, Hillsboro, N. Dakota; five nieces, seven nephews.
