Sister Mary Arcadia, 68, teacher of the third and fourth grades of St Patrick's school in this city, died at 10:07 this morning at St Clara's hospital. Death resulted after a week's illness from pneumonia.
She was Sister of Charity of the Order of BVM for over 50 years. Her home was in Burlington, IA., and she came to Lincoln three years ago from Pontiac.
The remains are to be removed to the St Patrick's convent, corner of Fourth and Union Streets, tonight.
Funeral services will probably be held Thursday morning from St Patrick's church, conducted by Rev T J Mulgrew. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
