Died on Sunday, 17 November 1895, of typhoid fever, Laura Bilyeu, daughter of Mrs Nancy Bilyeu, aged 14 years. The funeral services were held from the Christian Church, west in Christian County, on Monday afternoon. Rev T M Griffith officiated at the services. Interment took place in Hays Cemetery.
