Private services for Gilbert H. Aduddle, 52, 2034 Cumberland street, a veteran of world war 1, who died Monday night in Woods veterans hospital. Milwaukee, where he had been a patient for a year.
He was born March 4, 1894, in Senecaville, O., and came to Rockford in 1912, living here until he went to the hospital. During world war 1 he was an aviation technician, instructing at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y., for 11 months.
Mr. Aduddle was a pattern maker by trade and was a member of the American Legion and the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Sonora Marien of Rockford; a brother, Frank, Miami, Fla.; a nephew and four nieces.
