Vera L. Alcorn, 72, Evansville, Ind., formerly of Albion, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 1990 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Evansville.

Arrangements are being handled by Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Graceland Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be one hour before services.

Mrs. Alcorn was born in Albion July 13, 1917, the daughter of Rollie Francis and Grace (Goss) Barber. She married Harold Alcorn July 13, 1935. He survives in Evansville.

She was a secretary-accountant for the Raintree Girl Scout Council. She retired from that post 10 years ago.

Surviving, in addition to her spouse, are one son, Larry of Evansville; three brothers, Charles and Neil, both of California, and Bob of Mt. Carmel; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.
