SGT US ARMY WORLD WAR II

James Alfred Adams, 60, Ellery, died 1 a.m. Saturday in his home.

Services were held in the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion with Rev. Jim Steinsultz presiding. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.

Mr. Adams was born Sept. 25, 1921, the son of Seth Thomas and Elsie (Bailey) Adams. He married Thelma Atteberry Dec. 21, 1947 in Albion and she survives.

He was a carpenter and a member of the Conway Church.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Shirley) McVaigh, Ellery; and Mrs. B.H, (Linda) Vaughan, Fairfield; a brother, Duane Adams, Golden
Gate; and three grandchildren.
