An obituary published in the Shelbyville Democrat on October 25, 1917 for Mildred Aichele, wife of William F. Aichele, stated she had died on Thursday [October 18, 1917]. Mrs. Aichele was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wyrick of Shelbyville and was born May 20, 1883. All her life was spent in Shelbyville and she was educated in the local school, graduating with the class of the Shelbyville High School in 1900. After completing her studies she accepted a position in the store of her brother, A. H. Wyrick, where she worked a number of years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Since her married to Mr. Aichele, on June 19th, 1912, she had been devoted to her home and to her husband. Besides her husband she was survived by her parents, two brothers and four sisters. The brothers were A. H. Wyrick and Edward H. Wyrick of Shelbyville. The sisters were Mrs. H. B. Kirkpatrick of Pana, Mrs. A. O. Bryant, of St. Louis, Mrs. Edwin R. Waggoner and Miss Frederick Wyrick of Shelbyville. The funeral services were conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran church by the pastor, Rev. J. E. Keiffer.
