Beryl B Aten, 75, of Macomb died 9:31am Saturday, May 13, 1989 at his residence.
He was born Feb 12, 1914 in rural Roseville, a son of H. Ray & Pearl Marner Aten. He married Lucille Worrell Feb 26, 1938 in Rock Island.
Mr Aten, a former part-owner and manager of Wester Illinois Grain Company in Macomb, was a member of Macomb Lodge 17 AF & AM. He was also a member of Quincy Consistory, the Mohammed Shrine Temple in Peoria, and the Bug Unit of the Lamoine Shrine Club. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge, the AARP, Wesley United Methodist Church, and the Macomb Bowler's Hall of Fame.
Surviving are his wife, three sons, Michael G Aten of Pleasant Valley, MO; Patrick L Aten of Peoria; and Robert L Aten of Chillicothe; two brothers, Ralph Aten of Gallion, OH; and Weldon Aten of Blue Aprings, MO; two sisters, Mrs Doris Von Drake of Galesburg and Mrs Needra Weese of Cuba. He was preceeded in death by one brother, William Aten.
