Mrs. George Aspland, 45, of 663 South Bluff St., died this morning at Beloit hospital.
Alice Luella Renly was born Sept. 8, 1917 in Newark Twp., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Renly. She was married to Mr. Aspland in 1936 in Cako, California. She was a member of Faith Lutheran church and until her illness was employed by Freeman Shoe Corp. in the shipping office.
Surviving are her husband, a son George Jr. and a daughter Cheryl Anne, both at home; three brothers, Melvin, Norval and Richard Renly, all of Beloit; three sisters, Mrs. Owen Taylor, Mrs. Charles Browlin, both of Beloit and Mrs., Deward Large of California, and her parents. She was predeceased by a sister.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran church with the Rev. Carl L. Ipsen officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
