Bowen Keith died 17 Nov 1892, at his residence in Jackson County, aged 60 years, and was buried in Collins Cemetery. He was head of the GAR post. He left a wife, three sons, one sister, Lorinda Anderson, and two brothers, J.J. Keith of Alto Pass and Hamilton Keith of the far West.
