Hobart Wesley Allen, 42, farmer, and previously employed as machinist helper at the C.B. & Q. Railroad, died at 7:15 o'clock last night at his home, 608 Wall Street.
The body was taken to the Simpson Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternnon, November 26.
Friends may call at the funeral home between 7:30 and 9 o'clock this evening. The body will be taken to the Allen home, 608 Wall St., tomorrow and will later be returned to the funeral home.
Rev. Thomas Allen of Louisville, Kentucky, a cousin of the deceased, will be in charge of services.
Interment will be at the city cemetery.
Hobart Wesley Allen, son of Mrs. Ida Allen and the late Henry C. Allen, was born June 20, 1902 at Hodgenville, Ky., and had resided in Beardstown the past 23 years. On December 8, 1939 he was married to Georgia Christine Marshall of this city.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Judith Ann; one brother Lindsey Allen,and one sister Stella Anderson. One brother, Archie B., and his father Henry C. Allen, preceded him in death.
